VE day in Brighton and Hove

I am currently researching for a new documentary about V.E. Day for the
Yesterday channel. The provisional title is “Love On VE Day”.  Using the
story of the day itself, we would like to meet people who fell in love,
heard bad news about a loved one, were reunited – and were even married on
that incredible day.

We would really like to feature the Brighton area and are looking for people
who may have some brilliant stories to tell about V.E. Day. Would it be
possible for you to let me know any means of getting in touch with older
people who may have stories that we can feature in the documentary? There
may be social events or forums or magazines where we could
post a message?

I really appreciate you taking the time to read this and really look forward
to your reply.

Many thanks and best wishes,

Lily Brazier
