‘Men Get Eating Disorders Too’

‘Men Get Eating Disorders Too’ is a website and
publicity campaign that aims to raise awareness of male eating disorders

Can’t cook for toffee? Keen to learn?

Join Old Spice, the cooking club for

older men.

Old Spice is a LifeLines/Brighton & Hove Food Partnership project set up to develop basic cookery skills and healthy eating on a budget for men over 50.

If you find yourself a stranger in your own kitchen, then this is the ideal opportunity to join us, make new friends and get stuck into cooking – it promises to be a challenge, but great fun too.

Old Spice is an eight-week course that will cover a wide range of cookery skills – setting up a larder, basic ‘prep’ skills, cooking for one, exploring different ways of cooking, making sauces, tasty stir- fry, salads, creating menus – even entertaining.  Each week, you will prepare and eat a meal based around the week’s theme.
