You may already know about our plans for a major redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The redevelopment, which will affect just under half the hospital site, includes improving the Sussex Cancer Centre, relocating and expanding the Regional Centre for Neurosciences (Hurstwood Park), replacing the medical and elderly care wards and creating a Major Trauma Centre. We are aiming to submit our application for planning approval to Brighton & Hove City Council in early 2011.
