Where will it take place ?
6 areas of the new Health Centre have been identified as perfect for displaying artwork. The spaces are ;
1. A 1metre x 1metre wall space in the main entrance lobby on the wall outside the Roundabout Children’s Centre – left hand side.
2. A 1 metre x1 metre wall space in the main entrance lobby on the wall outside the Roundabout Children’s Centre – right hand side
3. A 2 metre x 2 metre wall space in the main doctors surgery waiting area on the ground floor – Left side
4. A 2 x 2 metre wall space in the main doctors surgery waiting area on the ground floor – Right side
5. A large 3 metre x 3 metre wall space area in the stairway leading from the ground floor to the first floor which includes the NHS dentist and other health services.
6. A 2 metre x 2 metre wall space in the NHS Dentist waiting area on the first floor.
What will it involve ?
Local residents, artists and community groups are invited to send in their suggestions for how they would like to fill these spaces.
The preference is for local residents, art groups or community projects to come up with ideas for a project to create new work to fill at least one of these spaces. Projects will be selected to fill the 6 spaces and the results of these projects will be displayed on the Health Centre walls.
The spaces are suitable for paintings, drawings photographs, or a range of other work that could be practically mounted and displayed for the enjoyment of visitors to the health centre.
Alternatively if local residents , artists or community projects have recently completed some work that they think would be ideal for display in part of the Health Centre this will be considered.
Is there funding available ?
A budget of up to £200 for each of the 6 areas is available for production and display of art work.
How Can I get involved ?
This project is for people local to the Wellsbourne Health Centre – living and/or working in the Whitehawk and Manor Farm area .
If you would like to put forward a community art project idea or completed art work to be part of this unique initiative then complete the simple application form and send it to Serendipity Community Development worker Graham Allen, who you can also contact for more information.

This project is part of that support work.
How will projects be selected ?

Selection criteria will include :
• Degree of involvement of local community members in the project.
• Level of interest and impact for visitors to the health centre of the resulting artwork
